Dear Prospective Partner,

My name is Robert Brown, and I am the founder of the Never Give Up Reentry Center (NGURC). Based in DMV area, NGURC was created to assist veterans, at-risk youth and the formally incarcerated with reclamation of their lives in this ever-changing society. To date, I have helped over 40,000 citizens through my leadership at NGURC; I am proud to say that I once stood in the shoes of the people my organization serves. With determination, a solid support system and the right resources, I worked my way up and out of my turmoil.

NGURC helps the community through a variety of tools including mentor ships, occupation assistance, clothing drives, literacy training, and motivational exercises purposed to build confidence and transformation.

You no doubt understand the pressing need for solutions to problems in the DMV area.

For instance, there is someone we all know who grew up making bad decisions in their life. These bad decisions may have led them to be institutionalized, homeless or experience drug addiction. As for our veterans, I too served in the US Army, and know the difficulties of converting from a soldier to a civilian. Our efforts to assist at-risk youth, veterans and returning citizens require a variety of services which can’t take effect unless we have the support of everyone in our community.
